Leaving the Forest - by Stareyes
Note to self: don't plan watercolor paintings if you can't take the time to paint them.
I wanted to put a lot of color in the foreground and make the background (the cursed forest) pale and gray. I wish I'd stuck to my original idea to focus on blues and golds and not mixed green into the grass.

Sadly, some of that is 'watercolor paper doesn't lie flat'. It's a straight gradiated wash.
