The MkIV Waterwalker was based on a civilian model jet ski, modified for stability and a much greater fuel capacity. Initially intended to replace small boats for regular patrols and light transport, it was eventually deemed impractical official use, with the spray often getting in the sailors' faces, despite the guards. Even though it was never officially deployed, a surprising number found their way to ocean bases, and even today working models can be found, hidden in depots.
