Hundreds of free movies hit YouTube

Hundreds of feature length movies have quietly appeared on YouTube, including famous titles such as Legally Blonde, Terminator, and Rocky. To get more news about 91 Asian Chinese Paradise watch online, you can visit our official website.

However, currently the movies are only available to users in the US and YouTube won’t say when such free content could be available to Australian viewers.

The popular video streaming site — made famous by its user generated short clips — has reportedly cut a deal with movie studio MGM to host a raft of classic and some new movie titles on its site. But there is currently no free movie content from other studios such as Paramount, Warner Bros. or 20th Century Fox.

While the movies can be watched without paying for a subscription, they are supported by advertisement breaks as the Alphabet-owned company looks to broaden its content offering to better position itself to compete with the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

“We saw this opportunity based on user demand, beyond just offering paid movies,” Rohit Dhawan, director of product management at YouTube told Ad Age. “It also presents a nice opportunity for advertisers.”In 2016, YouTube launched YouTube Red in Australia, now known as YouTube Premium, which offers ad-free movies and TV shows that can be downloaded and watched offline for $14.99 a month. It also includes a growing library of original content often aimed at a younger audience, including shows by creators who made their name on the platform.

Since 2012 YouTube has also allowed users to buy and rent movies and TV content, just like iTunes.

The company said it plans to add more new releases and major titles on a regular basis to its “free to watch” section that recently became available to US users.

it has ambitions to expand the free movie offering to more users, but had no plans to share any details at this time. So it appears Australia won’t enjoy such free movie content on the service any time soon, if at all.
