Ask someone to take a video of you can see how yourself in action. You can see where you observe the game and notice things you missed. Be honest in your assessment but don't be too harsh.

To become a great free thrower, always go through the same routine before each shot. This could mean two dribbles before taking your free throw, how you position your feet, or anything else. As long as this is a quick set of movements and it's consistent, using a consistent routine can help your body retain the memory to make those shots after your "ritual."

Passing between the legs is something that helps when you are being closely guarded. Practice this maneuver by bouncing the basketball forcefully between your legs while stepping forwards and backwards. Mastering this skill will provide you with a big advantage on the court.

A routine can enable your free throws. If you're not consistent you'll be off when you shoot. The easiest way to get better at free throws is to do repetitions of the ball.
